Browns Socialhouse Tamarack: A Culinary Gem in Edmonton

I went there with my friends on Friday night. I liked the atmosphere and loved their food!! Especially house green dressings and oreo cheesecake- so goooood And our waiter (maell? sorry forgot her name..) was super nice!

Talk about Bowls done right! Awesome dining experience. Server was really nice and the meal was lovely..We had two dragon bowls-tofu and teriyaki chicken and there wasn't a drop leftover! They were both so tasty. The carrot cake for dessert was a delightful surprise- warm and just the right amount of sweet!

I've been here fairly often since moving into my new house a few years ago, and it's always been a wonderful experience. The food and atmosphere are always great, but the staff are 100% the reason I keep coming back. Not only are they good at their jobs, but great people. I've always appreciated their care and kindness, and that they've always gone above and beyond to make sure I (and everyone in the restaurant) are taken care of.

My friends and I had such a great experience yesterday, and a big part of that was thanks to our amazing server, Lilly! From the moment we were seated, she made us feel so welcome and taken care of. Her energy was so warm and positive - it really set the tone for the entire meal. You can tell she genuinely enjoys what she does, and that makes all the difference. Service was top-tier, attentive without being overbearing, and she made sure everything ran smoothly. Lilly, you were truly a highlight of our visit. Thank you for being so wonderful! <3

We go to Brown’s once a week for brunch. The mimosas are amazing - fresh squeezed OJ makes all the difference. Justin is a great server - he’s very personable and remembers our very specific orders. I highly recommend it there - eggs Benedict is so tasty ! Or get the avocado and tomato Benedict and add bacon! The Brioche French Toast is also amazing

My wife and I have been to Brown's Tamarack a bunch of times, and we can't say enough good things about Leah, one of their awesome servers. Leah always goes the extra mile to make our dining experience unforgettable. From the moment we walk in, she greets us warmly by name, making us feel valued and welcomed. Leah knows the menu specials inside out and always takes the time to explain each dish with enthusiasm. Her recommendations have never let us down; she truly knows how to guide us to the perfect meal choice. What stands out the most is her genuine friendliness and positive attitude. Even during busy times, Leah stays cheerful and ensures that every guest feels well taken care of. I highly recommend visiting Brown's Tamarack and, if you're lucky, having Leah as your server. Her exceptional service truly enhances the dining experience. I look forward to my next visit, knowing that Leah will be there to make it special.

Browns Socialhouse on 17th Street is absolutely awesome. The vibe is spot-on—laid-back, stylish, and welcoming—and the food and drinks never disappoint. What really makes the experience stand out, though, is the staff. Leah and Lily are phenomenal. Their energy, friendliness, and attention to detail take the whole atmosphere to the next level. They’re not just servers; they’re vibe curators. Whether you’re in for a casual dinner or a night out with friends, they make you feel like a regular from the moment you walk in. Can’t recommend this place—and these two rockstars—highly enough.

Browns is our go to spot to have a nice little lunch or dinner and hang out on the oatio with good drink and eats! You can never go wrong with a bellini, they are delicious and perfect for this sunny weather we have been having (I still get them in the winter too, theyre just too good). The calamari is also our go too appy and its always amzing! Always great service by everyone we have seen, but if you're lucky enough to get Ashton, she is a riot! 10/10 service, attitude and jokes, just a lovely human who makes your time there that much better!
